Tucson Information Systems Security (ISSA) Chapter is
part of an international organizaiton. Our goal for the
Tucson Chapter is to provide educational forums through
high quality speakers from local and global corporations
who share their best practices and new ideas which
strengthen our information security practitioners, and
professionals.
By attending our meetings you will have the opportunity
to meet and network with other security professionals.
We provide our members with a fabulous lunch and a
chance to win some door prizes. Each member will earn
4-hrs CPE (Continuing Professional Educaiton) credits
for certification maintenance.
The goals and objectives of the Tucson ISSA Chapter are:

Educational training in information security related topics

Educating members on new technology, trends, and practise
·
Inform members about any leads on career opportunities

Networking opportunities with other security professionals
·
Each member will earn 4 hours CPE credits for certification

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)®
is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security
professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums,
publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the
knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members.
The primary goal of the ISSA is to promote management practices
that will ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of
information resources. The ISSA facilitates interaction and
education to create a more successful environment for global
information systems security and for the professionals involved.
Members include practitioners at all levels of the security field in a
broad range of industries, such as communications,
education, healthcare, manufacturing, financial and government.
Tucson Chapter Information Systems Security (ISSA)
was founded by students and instructors at ITT-Technical
Institute Tucson Campus on May 10, 2010. We are a part of a
global information security community. Our chapter is made
of information security practitioners, and security professionals.
